John Wants Caleb To Fire Robert!
When Robert Sugden came back to the village, he started living with Victoria Sugden. However, soon his prison nightmares turned him into punching Victoria, so she got a black eye. She had to fake a sick day at work to hide it. Robert told her that he is dangerous for her and Harry, so he shouldn’t live with them. Later, Victoria told him to go for therapy to get rid of the prison nightmares.
Meanwhile, soap fans know that when Robert asked Caleb for the work, he initially hesitated but agreed later on. Then Robert was late for the first day at work, so Caleb wasn’t impressed. However, he apologised and promised to arrive early next time. Later, Caleb went home and found John, who warned him that Robert was dangerous, urging Caleb to fire him.
John Blackmails Robert!
Though Caleb insisted that Robert deserved a chance to rebuild his life. He didn’t agree. John reminded him that he had helped him cover up Anthony’s murder. Caleb asked John whether he was trying to blackmail him. He felt pressured by John and had to fire him. Caleb made up a story about losing a client. Robert went to Woolpack and bumped into Jai Sharma. When he asked him about Caleb’s new client, Jai was clueless. So, this made Robert dubious, and he found out what happened.
Then he confronted John, but he told him to leave. Robert got furious and told him that he would expose him. Then the two started fighting outside Victoria’s house. Victoria ran and stopped both of them. When John saw his sister’s black eye, and found out that Robert was responsible for it.
