However, she came back after a few days. Everyone thought she was responsible for smashing the window at the Woolpack and sending messages to cancel Chas and Liam’s wedding.
The couple was bombarded with messages. Ella manipulated Mandy Dingle to call Liam. When Liam came, she told him that she was innocent. He pretended that he wanted her back, but soon she realised that he was lying. When she learned that the police had been informed, she ran away with the knife in her hand.
Liam chased her. But when they confronted each other in the woods, she pushed him and he hit the rock. Believing he was dead, she started crying. However, he soon got up. Ella tried to prove her innocence and love once again. However, police sirens came and arrested her.

Meanwhile, Ella’s past involved a murder when she killed her friend, Joanne, as a child due to jealousy. So, people thought that she was responsible for Chas’s collapse.
