John Sugden has been hiding a lot of secrets. He has been visiting someone at Hotten General. In Thursday’s episode, it was revealed that John has been visiting Aidan Moore. Fans were already dubious that John was lying about Aaron’s death. When Victoria saw a dog tag among her brother’s belongings, she asked him about it.
John cooked up a story and told her that Aidan was a friend in the army. He added that they were best friends and were together in the army in Afghanistan. He revealed that Aidan was killed when a bomb exploded during a kickabout with a recruit. John added that he tried to help by holding his hand. Aidan thought he could save him, but he failed him as his hand slipped away. The dramatic John said that he couldn’t forgive himself for that.
In Thursday’s episode, viewers learned that Aidan was John’s past lover. However, Aidan is still alive and is in a coma. John told Aidan that he had met Aaron, who loves him wholeheartedly. He taunted him and said that it wasn’t his style, and he made him believe he wasn’t good enough. John said he won’t come to the hospital again as Aidan has messed up with him.

The medic also buried Anthony’s body in the woods, but Miligans found out that he didn’t bury the body in the woods.
