Prince William and Princess Kate shared a message for British Olympians in a congratulatory video. In the midst of numerous royal traditions, some of which have been broken, the Prince and Princess of Wales have continued the long-standing tradition of supporting British athletes for their contributions at this year’s Olympics. There were definitely some differences involved, too; let’s find out what they were!
William And Kate Congratulate The Olympians!
The future King and Queen are currently on a summer break with their three children during the school holidays. However, the royal couple made a brief appearance in a video while congratulating Team GB Olympians alongside famous faces, including Snoop Dogg and David Beckham.
In the video, Kate said, “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB.” As for Prince William, he stood next to her in a blue Adidas polo shirt with a rugged look to him. “Well done on all you’ve achieved,” he said, “You’ve been an inspiration to us all.”
It seems like the royal father of three is completely in vacation mode, ditching his clean-shave visage. The video was posted from the couple’s official social media accounts as the Games in Paris came to a close.
The clip features famous faces, including footballer David Beckham and some of the UK’s past Olympians and sports presenters. It concluded with Snoop Dogg saying, “Thank you, Great Britain. On behalf of big Snoop Dogg, the Prince and his lovely wife.”
Furthermore, the post’s caption was dedicated to the Great Britain and Northern Ireland Team reads, “Well done @teamgb, what an incredible journey! Every athlete showed immense dedication, heart, and passion. You made us all so proud! Here’s to celebrating every triumph at @paris2024 and looking forward to more from @paralympicsgb_official later in the summer.”

We love this beautiful gesture of the royals; they kept the players motivated for their upcoming events. We know that royal family members usually take a break from official duties in August. King Charles is currently at Birkhall on the Balmoral Estate in Scotland. As for William and Kate, they are spending time with their kids.
They are expected to return to royal duties when the kids return to school in September, but Kate’s schedule remains under review while she battles with cancer.
